Texas Native Son
As a life-long Texan, I am knowledgeable about the San Antonio and Austin areas. I pride myself on being active in the community. I look forward to working with you and – if you are new to San Antonio where I currently reside – I look forward to exploring the city together and introducing you to all of the things I love about it.
While growing up in San Antonio, my father instilled in me the value of hard work. I have set my sights and standards high, and I credit my upbringing for teaching me how to deal with all of the aspects of running a business while remaining faithful to my own honesty and integrity.
Now I strive to pass that great heritage down to my own son. I also desire to be an example to the community for youth and other entrepreneurs.
For me, giving back to the community is a fun and rewarding duty. San Antonio has been generous in the opportunities I have enjoyed, and I want to make sure it is even better for generations to come.
Volunteering with Habitat for Humanity just naturally falls into place with real estate work. Their most famous volunteer is, of course, President Jimmy Carter, but I take seriously my role helping people in need to have a stable living situation through homeownership.
Habitat for Humanity is described as, “An ecumenical Christian non-profit housing organization working in partnership with God’s people in need to build modest, decent and affordable houses without interest or profit, thereby witnessing God’s love in action. Another important role I’ve taken on in San Antonio involves preparing young people to recognize opportunity and seize it through – you guessed it – the power of hard work and devotion to honesty and integrity.
As a volunteer mentor, I have had the great fortune of meeting and mentoring exceptional kids who just need some ideas – as well as someone who believes in them. It is also an opportunity for my son to be involved in fun times and to also benefit from seeing the mentoring process over time.
Entrepreneurship & Marketing
My father showed me the hard work of becoming an entrepreneur. At an early age I witnessed late nights and early mornings. I watched him build his business and earn a decent living from it.
But I thought I had a better idea. I landed my dream job in corporate America at age 21 and thought I found exactly what I was looking for. I was given great benefits, travel opportunities, and the chance to advance quickly in the company. It was great… until my employer relocated out of San Antonio.
Shortly after, something beautiful was created: Along with two partners, we started our own company – Direct Call Solutions. It is based on sound business models and fills a huge void in the sales center industry.
We put people first, and the positive results followed. Creating a culture where people are passionate and enjoy what they do adds to the company’s success, and our clients find it contagious.
By empowering people to be their best and tapping into their hidden talents, I have helped build a company that has grown every year, and I’ve consulted for many others. It is my belief that you cannot be afraid to fail if you want to achieve real success.
Building on the success of Direct Call Solutions, I was able to start a partnership called Red Door Investments. Our goal is to help homeowners in financial distress by purchasing their home, remodeling it, and selling it. Some call this “flipping” a property, but we see it as a win-win-win: Removing the burden from the owner, making improvements that will benefit the neighborhood, and contributing quality housing to our community.
And the answer to your question is:
“Yes! We paint the door of each house red before it goes on the market.”
Real Estate Made Personal: It’s a calculated formula that creates personal, human relationships – the basis of all successful business activities. Creating strong relationships guided by respect, honesty, and integrity is my goal in every interaction.
One of our greatest assets is the hours we have each day to get things done. Channeling that asset by investing time in really understanding each other’s style, needs, and aspirations. It takes time to build a meaningful relationship, and I believe in making the investment of time in order to truly connect with you and the other people around me.
Having grown up around the real estate business, it is important to me to have true care and concern for my clients so that I can understand the intricate factors that make up who you are and what you hope to achieve.
